NI Community Impact Award Winner
Here I am, on the road again. There I am, up on the stage. Here I go, playing the star again.

Well, I won another award from NI! I was a little shocked. The last time I won an award, NI told me about it ahead of time. This time there was no notice. I was sitting at a table next to a Newark rep (they also won a couple awards). He asked what I did. I told him I was a Consultant. When they started announcing the Consultant awards, he asked me if I was going to win something. I said, "Nah, they would have told me." Well, I was wrong. When they announced my name, we both looked at each other and laughed.
This is different than the last award I won. The award I won this year is the Community Impact Award, which is apparently a new award for this year. I'm honored to be the first recipient. The award I won two years ago was the Consultant Impact Award, which this year went to Joerg from Hampelsoft - very well deserved. Steve Watts was one of the runner-ups. "Always a bridesmaid, never a bride" as Steve put it. It'll be his year eventually. Hopefully, it will be Malcolm Myers' year soon as well. He also does a lot, yet he tends to fly under the radar. There are also several other consultants doing awesome things as well, like Casey May, Erich Schlieper, Enrique Noe Arias, and a few others who also deserve some recognition. I'd love to see them up on that stage some day as well (hopefully someone from NI is reading this).
