Running a Business is Hard. Get Your Questions Answered.

If you currently run your own business or have looked into it, you'll know it can be daunting. There are a lot of moving parts and things that have to happen: Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Legal, Taxes, Insurance, etc. You probably have lots of questions and challenges. As a community, whatever problem you are facing someone in the community has already learned all the lessons and knows where all the potholes are. What better place to get answers than from others who have already been through it?

We are running the 2nd annual LabVIEW Consultant's Summit (LVCS) on October 18th. It's an online Virtual Conference aimed at LabVIEW Consultants (or those considering being LabVIEW Consultants). Nancy will give a brief keynote and the rest of the conference will be an Open-Space. What does that mean? Here is a brief description. The TLDR is that we have a bunch of open circles and timeslots. If you have a question, you get to pick a circle and timeslot to lead a discussion around your specific issue and get input from the rest of the attendees. When you are not leading a discussion, you get to participate in the discussions that are most valuable to you. You can just listen or contribute your valuable expertise and experience. We'll have multiple discussions going at once, so you can roam and find the one that is most relevant to you.

The traditional conference model where you sit and listen to a single speaker is more consumption-based. The attendees are limited to consuming just what the speaker finds important. This model is participation-based. You get to shape the agenda. You get to talk about what you are interested in, not just what the speaker happens to be interested in. Don't simply be a passive consumer. Come participate.

We ran this same format last year and it went over really well. We got lots of good reviews. If you run a LabVIEW-based business or are thinking about it, then come join us. Use the button below to register.
