Plug for ALARM group

ALARM – "Advanced LabVIEW Architects of the Rocky Mountains"

We have a very active LabVIEW usersgroup here on the Frontrange of Colorado, based in the Golden/Boulder area called ALARM, which stands for "Advance LabVIEW Architects of the Rocky Mountains".   Don't let the name scare you.  The presenters and many of the attendees are very advanced LabVIEW users and the presentations tend to be on the advanced side but everyone is welcome and we quite often have beginners show up.  NI usually provides some free food (usually pizza or sandwiches)  and there's usually plenty of socializing going on.  It's a great opportunity to learn some more about LabVIEW/NI and to do some networking.

Next Meeting – January 20th, 6:30pm Louisville, CO

The meetings are bimonthly and alternate between Golden and Louisville.  The next one is January 20th in Louisville.  See the ALARM community group for more details:  https://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/alarm.  It contains the schedule and some other information.  If you plan on showing up for the meetings, its good to sign up ahead of time through the NI website so they know how much food to get.

Hidden Gems in LabVIEW

This month, I will be giving a presentation about "Hidden Gems in LabVIEW".  It's based off a presentation Darren Nattinger gave at the Denver CLD summit this fall.  You can find out more about the hidden gems here:  https://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/hidden-gems-in-vilib.  Once my presentation is finished I will post the final presentation to the ALARM site (see link above) and either post it itself or a link on here.

Hope to see many of you there,

Sam
